Hello my name is James and I made this course because I was once like you. I was wandering through life hoping for professional purpose. I used to be an accountant and I HATED it (sorry fellow number crunchers), but I was born to write. I had no idea when I was acing my college papers that Technical Writing was even a thing. It wasn’t a result in the Department of Labor’s outlook when I was trying to figure out what I was going to do to pay for massive student loans after graduation. I’ll tell the story later, but just know like Steve Jobs said, “you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life”.
It took a lot of trails and errors, but I feel like things worked out the way the good lord intended and now I want to share my insight because I think I can help. If you are working in a dead end job and want to level up your life maybe it time to learn a skill that can improve your situation. I put a lot of effort into setting up this course because technical writing changed my life for the better. Now I want to change the lives of others and hopefully in my small way, I can change the world for the better.
